W. Ralph Eubanks is an official panelist at the 2026 Mississippi Book Festival. He will be discussing his most recent book When It’s Darkness on the Delta as part of the panel titled “The Soul of America” along with Eddie S. Glaude, Jr. (America, USA: How Race Shadows the Nation’s Anniversaries), Robert P. Jones (Backslide: Reclaiming a Faith and a Nation after the Christian Turn Against Democracy), and moderator Traci Thomas, the creator and host of the critically acclaimed literary podcast, The Stacks. The event will be held in the Old Supreme Court Building of the Mississippi State Capitol and will be broadcast on CSPAN Book TV.
